VIENNA, 6th March 2023 – Burgeoning demand for modern and sustainable logistics space in Austria has driven the full leasing of CTPark Vienna East, covering about 51,000 sqm of gross lettable area (GLA) even before the completion of CTP’s first development in the market. Construction work has meanwhile kicked off at the company’s second project in the country, the 84,000 sqm CTPark St. Pölten North located just north of the major western A1 and S33 corridor connecting Vienna, Linz and Germany.
Daniel Pfeiffer, Senior Business Development Manager at CTP Austria, said:
The two latest tenants to sign up for CTPark Vienna East are Frigologo, one of the largest service providers for temperature-controlled food logistics in Europe, which has leased 13,116 sqm of space on a seven-year lease, while Austrian logistics services firm Schachinger, a specialist in the healthcare warehousing and transportation sector, has agreed a 12,984 sqm deal for a 15-year period at the same location.
Friedrich Zechmann, Managing Director at Frigologo, said:
CTP’s second Austrian development, now underway at CTPark St. Pölten North, is located north of the major western A1 and S33 corridor connecting Vienna, Linz and Germany and 12 km from the town of St. Pölten in northeast Austria. The park is also within easy reach of Vienna Airport, as well as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. CTPark St. Pölten North is scheduled to have its first space availabilities in Q3 2023 and will offer cross-dock facilities alongside A-class warehouses with multiple loading docks and drive-in ramps to support a wide variety of logistics functions. It is targeting primarily light industrial and manufacturing businesses, as well as retailers and production companies requiring distribution space.
The project comprises three halls ranging in size from 14,664 sqm to 37,786 sqm, with individual units measuring 2,500 sqm to 12,000 sqm. All buildings will be constructed to meet a minimum BREEAM Very Good sustainability certification.
